  We came here on a Thursday during the lunch hour. This place runs like a well oiled machine!  It gets pretty crowded, so grab a table before ordering if you can!  The employees handled the lunch rush pretty well.
  
  The food was delicious and plentiful!  The egg rolls were amazing, as was the chicken teriyaki bowls each of us ordered.  
  
  If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back!  A+!

  i finally got to try this place after it being in my neighborhood for a little over 2 years now and i was NOT disappointed at all!
  
  i ordered the special katsu chicken along with a bowl and some gyoza. everything was cooked to perfection, tasted amazing and the service was so friendly. i can't wait to try more thing on the menu, everything looks and smells so fresh.

  There are so many options and all for a good price. The atmosphere is clean, chic, trendy, and welcoming. The bowls take only a few minutes to get ready and they still taste fresh. They give so much rice and meat for the price. The only two I've tried are the grilled teriyaki chicken and fried pork cutlet bowls. I tasted a bit of the beef and unfortunately the flavor didn't meet my expectations. The tempura is also flavorful and nicely battered.
  
  My friend dropped most of her teriyaki beef and vegetables and had to toss it. She asked for a replacement and offered to pay for a beef side but the staff gave beef for free! I will be returning if i come back to this area. I've already been here twice.

  I cannot get enough of Kenji's! I crave chicken and rice all the time, so I've been to many places in town to get my fix. With that said, Kenji is hands down, one of my most favorite places to get chicken and rice.
  
  I ordered the #2 plate with dark meat chicken. It comes with steamed rice and a mixture of tempura vegetables. I always opt for the teriyaki sauce to be on the side.
  
  The chicken is so juicy and the tempura is nice and crispy. On top of that, the staff is friendly and the food is done very quickly.
  
  It's a generously heaping portion for one person so I always have leftovers... score!
  
  Can't wait until I go back!

  Good amount of portion for the price. I got #13 grilled teriyaki chicken bowl with mixed meat, half dark and half white. The white meat was dry but the dark meat was delicious and full of flavor. My wife got #9 butterflied shrimp plate. Steamed vegetables was cooked well enough for my 7 month to eat which was a plus. Halfway through my food I was getting bored so we ended up sharing our food. We went at 11:15am during a rush so do not expect great customer service anywhere during a rush since everyones working in a sense of urgency and don't have time to meet the requirements of good costumer service. Just get your food and go. Overall, it was a good experience.
